Review on πŸ’‘ NTONPOWER Power Strip Surge Protector: Wall Mount, 15ft Extension Cord, USB Ports, 12 AC Outlets, White (4000 Joules) - Ideal for Home Theater, Office & Computers by Jeremy Hudson

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Seems good but cramped for large outlets

I chose this for a new location where setting up my bloated, retro console filled entertainment center now required dragging a bed frame around which meant I really needed this 15th year -foot cable needed . Using extension cords on extension cords is incredibly dangerous so I was very happy to find this! Overall build quality is decent - the plastic isn't the highest quality and the sockets are tight - but not unsafe, just a bit cheap. If you connect things like NES with those big ol' square plugs, 4 by 6 external jacks can be conveniently made. You can use all 6 but the fit will be INCREDIBLY tight. Like being stuck in traffic, touch forks are kind of tight. This doesn't quite suit me to be honest, but seems normal so far - nothing is heating up and there's no weird behavior in the systems themselves. Since nothing connected to this strip requires constant power, I prefer it off when not in use, just as a precaution. However, I forgot about it, so it worked for several days with no problems. Overall - I'd consider something better if the standard 6ft cord gives you enough room for all your stuff. But if you're like me and you really need that long cable? It's far from bad!
