Review on Sony WH-1000XM5 wireless headphones, silver by Mateusz Sobczyk ᠌

Nothing special, there are positive and negative sides.

Hello, I'll be giving my thoughts on these headphones. It took about 25-27 days from the order date for delivery to the Hong Kong area. I purchased it from the authorized seller on AliExpress. This seems like a long time to me, especially because I ordered $250 worth of stuff on the same day and had it all within two weeks. For the past six years (every weekday for an average of four hours), I've listened to music with my Beats Pro headphones, and for the past six months, I've paired them with a Netac Bluetooth amplifier. Because of my preference for low and bass-heavy music, I am accustomed to listening to music at extremely high volumes. Depending on my disposition, I also enjoy listening to acoustic, pop, folk, and rock music. The "divine" noise reduction is great when you can hardly hear any outside noises at all, whether you're playing music softly or not at all, but it doesn't make the music louder. Since I always cranked up the volume on my beats pro headphones, I was also oblivious to any ambient noises (and, incidentally, neither was anyone else in public). Since they are not particularly practical for daily usage (heavy, connected, and requiring an amplifier at all times), you will have to get used to these headphones. Sonya cost me $23,800; I haven't listened to any other headphones in this price range, but I'm disappointed that they are regarded as among the best because of their poor quality. What alternative wireless headphones in the 80-100k price range would you recommend taking into account if you wanted something that was both loud and had a rich bass, clear mids and tops, was lightweight and ergonomic, and so on?

Pros
  • Compared to my old set of Beats Pro headphones, these Sony earbuds feel featherlight. The high-quality microphones and in-cup controls make these a great headset for phone calls.
Cons
  • The moment I slipped on these sleepyheads, disappointment set in; someone claims they have a volume margin, but I didn't notice it. When I listen to them, I don't feel any vibrations in the music. The music is louder on the wire, but when turned up to its maximum, the bass wheezes and the highs are lost. They don't reduce the highs and don't let the bass move while playing with an amplifier. In my opinion, mb is the place to go if you like your music without a lot of noise and bass. Expectations were overly exaggerated because there was no "wow" factor. With a well set equalization profile for a certain genre of music (I use aimp on android), my Beats headphones from 9–10 years ago and an amplifier from Alik costing $1,800 produce a lot juicier and better sound in all genres. While the bass in beats was satisfyingly deep and soothed the ears, Sony's offerings fall far short. Even after connecting the phone to the charger, the program still refused to update the firmware in the headphones until the battery was at least 50% full. Similarly, if you want to switch to Japanese voice acting but only have a 30% charge, go ahead and do so. The predefined profiles likewise did not do anything special for me in this program.

With its pros. Quality materials, nice to hold. The sound is great for me. With its cons. I think it is problematic to travel with them because of the large packaging, but I knew about this before buying.
