I have a 44" chest, 38" waist, weigh 200 pounds and usually wear an XL for most shirts. I ordered this shirt in XXL because I wanted a very loose, relaxed, baggy beach shirt. To my great disappointment, the XXL fits me like a tight XL! Also, I don't have very large pistols and the sleeve length is very short. Therefore, carefully consider your body type and height before ordering. In my opinion I would go full size if you were a tough person at all. In my case, if I wanted to, I'd be better off with 3X!
