Before giving them to him, I listened to the speakers I bought for my nephew and compared them to my trusty old 2.1 Microlab M-600. As soon as I turned on Edifier, I was taken aback by the sound's unexpected barrel shape; after giving it a slight twist, however, everything fell into place; I cleared my ears in response to the sound; I heard so many new sounds that it made me turn my head; the bass was elastic but not soft like Microlab's; and I was even more surprised to learn that these 2.0s do not require a subwoofer but are instead capable of handling low frequencies on their own; they cost 2.5 times as Great. What a fantastic multi-media presentation!
