I love these curlers because they straighten my hair and give it that extra volume I was looking for. I go to a lot of galas, cocktail parties and fancy dinners and I don't always have time to go to the salon so they work great. They are NOT suitable for curling hair - not for size 2 inches. My hair ends up looking straight and styled like I went to the salon. This classic Jackie O. look is perfect for the events I go to. regularly - some on fairly short notice, with no need for a haircut, and on those busy days I can't go to the salon. I also find that these curlers are gentler on my hair. So if you buy them, make sure you know what they are for. I wish they (just) sold extra curlers because I have a lot of hair and bought two of these and now need to buy a third as there aren't enough of them. I could use three more curlers. 🌟Also, use a big scarf to cover your hair and hold the curlers together. I know this because I remember my mom doing this when she "styled" her hair. 🌟
