Mixed feelings about this

3.5-4 stars. Firstly, I bought it because I just liked the way it looked. Every other person I saw was so busy and I just wanted something simple. It was delicious. I know the description spoke of solid wood and MDF, but I assumed it was probably the main piece that was solid and the smaller pieces that were MDF. But on the contrary: the main part (the entire trolley) is made of MDF, and only wheels and one handle are solid, which did not suit me. I was hoping it would be mostly solid wood, especially at this price point. you expect it Otherwise, it's an overpriced pressed cardboard car. The wheels are very wobbly and there is no way to tighten them. Not only that, they're ridiculously squeaky too! On carpet and hard floors. Someone told me it was new, they creaked but it was very loud. So I smeared the wheels with WD40 to silence them, but added rubber bands to slow them down. They roll very quickly because they're so loose, so adding rubber bands is a trick that helps. It was still fast and still slid a bit like the wheels were skidding instead of rolling for a second or two, so I added hot glue traction to the wheels. Then of course I had to fill it with books. So it's finally possible, but it took a lot of effort to make it that way. I wish I could say I loved it when we got it, I wanted it but there was way too much stuff for an item that costs that much. Love the looks and style, I just don't like the fact that it's not a massive tree and the wheels are wobbly and fast. If it's all about looks, then yes, it is. When it's more than what it was for me, it's a tough decision.
