A nightmare. Don't understand

I've bought replacement parts for pretty much everything related to the extruder head. I have enough parts to probably make 4 of these (because buying in bulk is cheap). I've encountered a number of issues and still haven't earned enough points to just type anything, and I probably won't be doing that any time soon. I've learned a lot and if I could turn back time I would get Creality Ender 3. And that's what I would advise a beginner to do. At 230 I think it's a good deal. I got this because I needed a larger build volume for my needs. I used and maintained a much more expensive 3D printer at school and while I still had issues, I didn't have half as many issues and didn't have half the experience. I learned a lot from this printer, but I would like a printer that just works. I got this version 2 because I thought everything was clear and I thought it would be cheaper and easier than doing it myself. So far I've been wrong on all fronts. One problem I have with this machine that I just found out is that it sometimes clogs and starts spewing plastic from the top of the heating block. I now believe the two screws holding the thermal block to the heatsink came loose, but the instructions don't say anything about it, and it did, not to mention I haven't found anyone with such a bad case. When this first happened, a golf ball sized sphere formed around the heatsink and the thermistor ruptured. Last time everything broke on the thermoblock. So now I'm waiting for a new thermoblock.
