Very Useful on in ground sprinkler valve connections
Used these to connect Orbit solenoid controlled sprinkler valves. One of these on the sprinkler side of the valve enables the valve to be replaced in the future without having to cut any pipes.

- This union fitting is only compatible with PVC pipes, which can limit its usefulness for individuals with different types of piping systems
