Compared to what is available in the market, this is definitely a good deal. Curt is a little cheaper, but it comes with a lock that seems pretty strong (maybe it's been redesigned?). Getting one at Harbor Freight seems like a good option with Super Coupons until you realize they're not preloaded, so you'll probably need a special key for that, which will nullify any savings. A 2 inch ball meets all my needs so I don't have to change it. It also costs $5-10 less than what I've seen at auto parts stores. It hasn't really been exposed to the weather as it has spent most of its life in the back compartment of my 4Runner as I don't tow much and I'm deducting a star for that.
