Review on Linemans Combination Stripper High Leverage NEWACALOX by Craig Shah

Revainrating 5 out of 5

18 months of daily use

After a year and a half of daily use on the construction site, these pliers are still working. I've tied a thousand knots of wire, put them through rain and snow, covered them in mud and clay, and even poured a lot of concrete over them. I only had to use a little WD-40 once or twice. I see most ironworkers using small tongs, the spring-loaded ones with the broader nose and little kink at the end of a handle, but I've seen them lose their grip. Springs in the first week and even rubber grips fall off relatively quickly. With them I didn't have to worry about that. I know that a wider nose is preferable for tightening rebar, but they don't differ much in that regard. Even after strong vibrations, not a single rebar has come loose. In addition, the cutting blades are still perfectly sharp even after cutting countless pieces of wire and sometimes even 9 wires. I even pulled out my nails. My FAVORITE part is that the blade goes ALL THE WAY back unlike almost every other pair of pliers that has a groove that won't cut anything you put back in the pliers. I don't know if these other brands fit the same or if they wear out as easily, but it's very convenient that you don't have to position the blade in the middle of the wire to cut. I'm so glad I found her. I know they will serve me for many years to come. What offer!
