This is a great case, just what I was hoping for from the stand. I've been waiting for a review until we've used it for a while and I think it's been a year now. We bought 2, one for each child. They survived the fall and protected the pills. The front plastic came off a couple of times so I don't think I would have liked that for younger kids but it was fine for my 8 and 6 year old (and 6 year old is rough with his stuff). I ended up removing the strap and clips completely. They're in the way, and the rear handle is all we need. Sometimes I wish it lay flat, but that's my only complaint. Very happy with this purchase. My kids even noticed that the dermatologist we go to uses the same cases for their employees' pills! I don't know if I'd like this for my own tablet, but it's great for kids, or if you're commuting to work and tossing the tablet in your bag or something.
