Curtains are never as they appear in pictures! I bought these for my grands playroom, which is actually a sunroom, so they serve the purpose for which I bought them, which was to softened the look of the room. They are quite thin but I don’t need them for darkening. While the fabric is very thin I love the color and texture. A larger diameter rod would fill up the tabs better but I created a rod, due to the length of the wall, with steel conduit and heavy duty hooks and hung them from the ceiling so in couldn’t use a larger rod. I am happy with them overall. You would not want to use these in a room where you want privacy unless you’re using blinds.
