I owned the Bose Frame (Alto) for two weeks. I was reluctant to return them because they kept falling off my face. I tried them and a day later. I like her. Fit and Feel: The frame quality is the same as Bose, they feel the same, except the Inventives hug my face much, much better. I can really walk in them. They don't appear to be of any lower quality than Bose's $200 frames and actually have rubber temples to further prevent slipping. The Bose frames are a bit bigger in the face but I like the look of both, personal preference they are both wayfarer style. Sound quality: Unbeatable, Bose frames sound so good I was even happy replacing my car's (Mercedes) sound system with sunglasses. Bose frames bring music to your brain. The noise pollution of the area is minimal. Inventive's sound quality is acceptable, especially after adjusting the sound on your phone's equalizer. I'm a pseudo audiophile and only play lossless tracks and use the excellent Poweramp player. But even when streaming in standard quality from Tidal or Pandora, the sound quality is fine for me. Outsiders can hear a lot more than the Bose frame. They let quite a bit of noise through. Both don't use bone conduction, they just have external speakers aimed at your ears, but Bose uses active noise cancellation like audio wipers to minimize leakage. Let me be clear I have no complaints about the sound of the Inventives after tuning, I appreciate what they are and moderate my expectations accordingly even after being ruined by Bose frames. Lenses: Bose are non-polarized, Inventives. I prefer polarized even if it makes my phone screen look weird. Other: Inventives has a horrible blue bluetooth strobe light that flashes every 7 seconds. It reflects very clearly from the inside of the right lens into your eyeball. An incomprehensible design choice, but easy to fix with a felt-tip pen. The promotions also scream WELCOME when you turn them up to full volume, alerting everyone to your intention to to drown them out with Billy Joel. Another amazing feature. Boses automatically disconnect when you flip them, which is great, and reconnect quietly and discreetly. without talking to you so pronounced that I put them aside. If Bose were right for me, I'd pay an extra $140 because I appreciate a jump in sound quality that others might not notice. I really like these temptations, even though ten years ago they would have cost $1,000. $59 is an easy buy with adjusted expectations. They mailed me the wrong color lenses so I will return them and hopefully get the correct grey, black frames with blue lenses which are too cool for me. $59 is an easy buy with adjusted expectations.
