The light is really good. But they just aren't powerful enough to take photos without getting shot in the head. For those who understand the camera settings: I had to go to ISO1600, F4.0, shutter speed 30-60 to get a good picture. And by usable, I mean barely usable. Too much artifacts and noise in the images. I usually like to shoot at ISO100, F8-9, shutter speed 125-160. I had two of these devices for shooting, 100% power, the model was at a distance of 5-6 feet. If you're recording a desktop product, then that would be great. But in extreme cases, trying to shoot a person at a distance of 5-6 feet in full height with their help will not work. See sample images. The red hair shot was taken with these lights and the settings indicated. The multicolored hair shot was taken with studio flash. I figured I could use these lights as a last resort, but I needed something more powerful. Hope this helps anyone who is thinking along the same lines as me.
