I won't lie I was very skeptical that a bag of charcoal would remove odors. Now I know it works, and very well! I had a detailed car and the guy did a really bad job. It smelled very unpleasant, a very strong chemical smell mixed with a musky smell. It wasn't that it smelled "bad," it was just that it was very overpowering and strong. I threw two of these in my car and one in the trunk and it worked wonders overnight! I couldn't believe it. I also hung one on the doorknob in my room and it smells great! (Great because it doesn't smell! While there's still a faint smell of my air freshener (which I wanted) in the car, the strong chemical smell is almost completely gone! It's been day and night. I'm so glad I tried it first because I was going to buy baking soda, pour it all over my car overnight and soak it all up, which would have been a never ending lot of work for me.
