I recently made the error of purchasing my outdoor gear needs from the Genwiss internet store, and wow was that a mistake! Despite their claims to provide everything you need for outdoor activities, I found them to be frustrating and disappointing in my experience. Their website is a disaster, to start. The search function is about as helpful as a chocolate teapot, and it's difficult to browse. I wasted more time browsing pointless items than I did in finding what I wanted. Second, their products' quality is under question. I bought a set of hiking boots that broke down after a few usage and a tent that barely lasted a night. Never mind the sleeping sack that was intended to keep me warm but instead had me shivering the entire night. Finally, their level of customer service is laughable. I had to get in touch with them repeatedly to obtain a response, and when I did, the agent was unpleasant and useless. It almost seems as though they didn't want my patronage! Avoid Genwiss' online store for your outdoor needs to save yourself the trouble. Their website, offerings, and level of customer support are all subpar. For your next journey, you'd be better suited shopping somewhere else.
