At first I wanted to complain. The halves of the stand are attached with two small rods that have holes pre-drilled in them. I thought why are you doing this?! Allow one half to taper and fit into the other. Then I collected it. The kit included a screwdriver and an Allen key. Tools are not required. During reassembly, one of the screws in the mentioned bracket stripped due to the coating. I was fine, I have to go to the hardware store to get a replacement. Everything except the washers to attach the Dyson mount was extra. I was impressed. It was an easy assembly and looks beautiful! All your investments are in place. They even came with foam pads that weren't listed on the inventory sheet. I put a few under the metal base because mine sits on top of the tile and didn't want to matt or scratch the tile. I can definitely recommend this stand for the Dyson V15 Detect. Stand is solid!
