This machine looks great, feels solid and is generally good value. We've made 2 batches of popcorn so far. the second was better, but still not as good as I expected. I bought a box of pre-measured popcorn from the manufacturer. I followed the manufacturer's recommendations for which popcorn bags to buy based on my particular machine. Popcorn packets contain the recommended amount of popcorn, butter and condiments. The instructions on the popcorn package were different from the instructions that came with the machine making it difficult. I decided to follow the directions on the box. The first batch started out fine, but then the popped kernels started sticking to the stirrer inside the kettle, causing the popcorn to not stir properly and starting to burn. About 1/3 of the popcorn came out of the kettle properly and was good, then when it started to burn I had to quickly throw the kettle away causing the burnt popcorn to spill onto the good popcorn. broken party. In fact, only half of the cores turned up. Cleaning burnt popcorn inside the kettle was a nightmare as the kettle lid can't be completely removed to access the inside of the kettle. Bad design! The second batch was much better in terms of real cotton and no stinging. This time the popcorn didn't get stuck, everything popped except for a few kernels, but the taste was bland. Very boring and almost not enough butter taste. Not sure what the problem is as the popcorn comes pre-packaged with all the ingredients needed. We'll try again, but it's annoying to throw away so much popcorn just to make a bag of microwave popcorn. In addition, pieces of popcorn get caught between the side walls and the glass and are very difficult to remove.
