I purposely made them large so there was room to grow and I could save if I wanted to. My kid is under two years old and wears 2T-4T socks now, but it's impossible to find long and thick socks for winter. When it gets cold I always worry because when the pants go up there's a hole around his calves. They fit the bill and will hopefully last another year. I bought size XS and have his regular 2T-4T socks next to them to compare in my photo.
