These markers have spots and bumps regardless of the paper, painting technique or layers. the ink left white spots on almost every pen. These are supposed to be high-end markers, I've already worked with Copics. Normal copies have an even coverage with few or no white spots. Even on the same paper. But here? These special markers leave a lot of white marks when applied and they get worse as they dry. I don't know why they do this and if anyone can help me or explain why I appreciate it. I mainly work with professional markers. , and leave no white spots, just an even layer of the image. Now Copic and the Pro-Marker can usually compete on an equal footing, but this time the Pro-Markers are losing to the Cops! What gives? I think I got old or untested markers or something because they look awful and I can't bring myself to work with markers that behave like my old touch fives. Mind you, most of my touch fives lie flat with no white spots. All of the Copic markers I have in my kit leave white marks. The sad part is that the buyer doesn't allow returns or exchanges (I really wanted an exchange, you know.) so I had to call Amazon and luckily they were able to issue a refund of some kind. But now I have a few markers that I can't use for something I intended them to do. I am extremely dissatisfied with these. What's worse, I really liked these colors and their palette works well with my other markers. Just terrible ink! Copics were my dream brands but the quality is unacceptable. Before purchasing, ask if the buyer has checked the tags, and then ask if they can process returns. I say this because sometimes the description doesn't tell you. Hope that helps.
