This is a great tool. I just used it to change the valves on my Suzuki LTZ400. The tool's body feels solid enough to handle any job I'll be doing and was able to compress the springs without any noticeable flexing or sagging. My only complaint is that this kit doesn't come with a round head that sits in the center of the valve face. Of course you can use one of the smaller cups that come with the kit, but they are quite sharp and can scratch the combustion chamber or head valve. I ended up making a rounded piece of Delrin plastic on my lathe that slid right over the head of the screw and sat nicely on the valve. Mass producing these kits in China will not cost more than a penny so hopefully they will include something similar in the future as that is really the only difference between this kit and the one that costs twice as much.
