- Pros - 1) Great idea/concept 2) Oriental installation 3) Hollow shelf saves extra slack from cables - Cons - 1) Shelf detaches from wall when you put anything on it (even very light items) 2 ) Not perfectly flush with the wall - Overall - Overall I like the idea behind this product. I bought it to hold a small Oontz speaker. Then I could take the speaker to other rooms too, and the charging cable would be tucked away in a hollow shelf, out of my kitty's reach. In practice, however, this product does not live up to expectations. The speaker weighs maybe half a pound? And even with such a small weight on the shelf, the top edge of the shelf begins to detach from the wall. I am returning it and will continue to look for a similar product that works better in use.
