This deodorant is not the antiperspirant that many people prefer due to the metal salts and how they clog the sweat glands. You should be aware that when you switch to a non-antiperspirant product like this, your body will sweat more to try to clear those oil channels and release foul-smelling oils that are clogged. This means that you have to expect an additional smell of sweat, which will disappear in a few weeks. Don't feel like you have to stay on antiperspirants or you'll always be sweating and smelling like this. It seems to me that carbon deodorant absorbs moisture the best, although not as well as some of the other deodorants out there. The other two fragrances seem to be the same when it comes to moisture absorption. The texture of these deodorants is non-drying and tends to stay moist as it absorbs sweat. While I found this to be the most effective, I didn't like the musky smell of the carbon deodorant and preferred the baby powder/fruit. I have to apply the deodorant a few times a day to keep it fresh and it would be better if it lasted longer between uses.
