I bought this harness to make the standard cloth harness on my Quest 2 a little more tolerable. If you look at this, you probably don't like the standard band either. As a result, it is less pinched and does not interfere with adjusting the firmness or putting on the headset. I ordered the Vive Deluxe Audio Strap for the Frankenquest Mod so I might not need it but keep it with you in case something happens to the DAS or I want to take my Quest somewhere.
