This is typically a good frisbee and I haven't dropped them in years and almost forgot how much fun they can be. It weighs about 4 ounces - not super light - and might be a bit heavy for a small child, but is a lot of fun for adults and dogs. They are fairly durable and require a lot of abuse. Skyler the Greyhound loves it and has a pretty good set of choppers and hasn't even damaged them (yet). We bought two of these and they have been well used over the past year and I think they will even outlive me.
