I have plantar fasciitis. Every shoe I wear MUST have arch support. I bought these sandals to wear on my trip to Yellowstone National Park. We spent 3 days walking in the park. I have never complained that my legs hurt. The support is perfect. As I have very narrow feet, I ordered a size smaller as usual. I wear size 11 and ordered 10. The insole fits perfectly. The straps are loose but only because I have very narrow feet. I'm sure they will hold up well on the beach as well as they are made from a waterproof material. I would buy them in 100 colors if they were made in 100 colors!
