, I am an advanced knitter in my skill but just a beginner in knitting clothes. My first piece of clothing was an Einstein Coat designed by Sally Melville in The Knitting Experience. Knitting Experience: Book 1: Knitting. So I was very excited to find another book that offers a similar type of pattern such as: B. Saddle Knitting. Knitting Saddle Style had great clear instructions and photos. A really good book on knitting. The reason I'm giving it 4 stars is because I'm not overly keen on the styles - they're a bit basic. This was disappointing because judging by the cover photos I was expecting the patterns to be more exciting and trendy. But for ordinary sweaters, they will do. I think once I learn the concept I can create my own patterns with more texture and style.
