Great stand for the price! It is well made of metal. It's strong enough to hold a laptop. It also comes with a small tool to tighten it if it comes loose. I did not. This freed up a lot of desk space as I had previously used a cardboard box. The only downside is that when the laptop is closed and you try to open it while it's on the stand, it starts tipping over. However, I have no problem holding the base while opening it. Definitely worth it for the price!
