This is not nail polish these are vinyl stickers. However, with proper preparation, I've found that they stay up well. I received several compliments as well as a manicure accusation during the quarantine. I found they hold up better on long nails. Photo after a week and a half of wear. During this time I did the dishes and cleaned without gloves and also washed my hands with a damp cloth due to the pandemic. Steps for a high quality application and long life: 1. I use a coat of Essie Millionails.2 base coat. Clean the nails with alcohol to prepare them for the stickers.3. Glue them on and cut off the tip with nail scissors. They are thick so you can't just bend them and file the excess, they need to be trimmed with scissors.4. After trimming, file down the nail tips. I use a coarser sanding board and then use a finishing file to finish the edges.5. Apply a top coat. I use Quick Dry Siche Vita.6. Reapply the top coat every other day. This is my second set and took over a week to complete. To remove I use regular nail polish remover and then peel off the stickers and clean the residue with More nail polish remover. I will buy again.
