This may conflict with Garmin somehow not recognizing it as a power source.

Although this device connects to my Garmin, it doesn't feel like Garmin's preferred device, the charger beeps and gives visual warnings, and most Garmin programs close in the process. Perhaps it's safe here for something else, as it has a generic USB plug for the device and standard home socket pins for power. Notification was not continued.
