This was a gift for my nine year old grandson Gavin and it was always a hit. He craved a pogo stick but his mom and I worried if he could handle it, but HE COULD AND HE HAS IT! This item was just right for a beginner, but durable enough for an older brother and mom and, as it turned out, the neighborhood kids. The design was spot on, so he felt safe. The padded handlebar protects his hands when he holds them while jumping high in the air. Spring is fantastic! His favorite color is green. With so many pogo sticks on the market, it took me a lot of research to decide on this one and it definitely paid off in the end. Never take the cheapest. You pay for what you get and I have QUALITY with this stick so I'm buying another one for my family (three kids).
