Choice of braided or nylon sleeve

Summary: These soft suspenders are very useful. Remarks: This company (RAYTEEN) offers two sleeve options, one is braided and the other is nylon. . Several things struck me as I thought about it: a) the identification plate is in different places; braided, located at the end of the loop; nylon, at the end of the knot; in between it will probably interfere with being at the end of the knot (could get caught in a loop). b) The braid does not move while the nylon sheath can be rearranged. c) For the nylon sleeve, I'll see if I can move the label under the sleeve and away from the pinch points. Pros: Good fit and finish; very high tensile strength. Cons: RAYTEEN offers a few off-road components, but it doesn't appear that towing/rigging gear is their main line of business. Given the serious potential damage from brace failure, I would probably look for something more tried and tested than offering a brand new product. Conclusion: 4 stars for โ‚ฌ23. I chose the NYLON SLEEVE version for the reasons above and will update the review if I find any additional information.
