Usually good for beginners, but instructions could be more detailed. Without the additional YouTube videos that the company offers you to watch, you might be a little disappointed. However, the quality of the hoop is very good, they give you more than enough sewing needles, and they certainly give you a lot of thread, so thread. That way, if you make a mistake, you'll have enough thread to complete the project nicely. The design in the pictures is exactly what you get in the box. The pieces of fabric are a decent size so you can use them to make a small pillow or frame the design when it's finished.
