So I bought these because I had a strange smell in my car for 2 years that I couldn't get rid of. I charged them up in the sun and put on a large one in the front and one in the back. At first I didn't think they would work, but I just left them alone. After about 3 weeks I went in one day and noticed the smell had subsided, I waited another week, took them out and charged them in the sun, then put them back in the car and now the smell is gone. It takes about a month for the strong odors to go away with them. I guess even with not so strong smells I don't think it's a quick fix. It's better to dispose of it slowly and then save it. So don't forget to set reminders to recharge.
