, I love everything about this carrier. It's durable and very well made (even though it's made in China). But, my god, those instructions suck. Put some wood under the tailgate and make sure there is some pressure. This will hold the tailgate in place and save you a lot of hassle. Tape the gate in place where tape can be applied. Don `t save. :). Next you need to measure the distance from the studs in the old replacement bracket to the ground. This saves you from disassembly and adjustment (ask me how I know). The best guide that comes with the mount is the color image on the outside of the box. This is more valuable than the entire manual. Seriously, they could have used worse images and the steps missed important things. They refer to the bracket and screw part numbers, but the parts themselves are not identified. So the first step is to build up your workout with an adult drink of your choice. It was something I didn't do and it would have saved me hours. But it's not, and it's what I wanted, looks good and will last. And the story of how an old man put a 20-inch wheel with 35-inch tires back on the bracket is another story.
