Review on 🌲 Grandpa's Tar Bundle: Pine Tar Shampoo & Conditioner 8oz. - Natural Hair Care Set by Nikki Grossarth

Revainrating 3 out of 5

It has definitely changed

Three stars because the seam on my shampoo tube in the packaging was leaking. The old container was significantly better constructed. Subject: old vs new formula: I've attached two pictures - the white tube is the new one and the green bottle is the original. You can compare the difference in ingredients, directions and company names. For better or worse, this is definitely a different product. Smells different than the bottle. I don't think this is a bad thing, just another indication that "Grandpa's Miracle Pine Tar Shampoo" is no longer used and being replaced by The Grandpa Soap Company's "Pine Tar Scalp Therapy Shampoo". I can't say if that was the case. works better or worse, but this change only smacks of compromise and fills me with Clint Eastwood's disgust – the old-fashioned label is gone, replaced with what looks like it's from the trendy natural products aisle. A consultant is probably trying to rebrand the spa. The company's new name sounds like they're making old grandpa's products ("It's made of people!") and not old grandpa's recipes. If this is going to be another trending pine scented tea tree shampoo, I'm not sure I'll be back after I'm done with this one. Just take a look.
