Review on Linen Towel Flour Sack Multi Purpose Absorbent by Ginny Gregory

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Wash them first - soft, absorbent and naturally beautiful!

Soft, absorbent, natural. . . what's not to like? I noticed a few things right out of the box: - they had a smell - - not necessarily bad, but more like 'new fabric' than a bad smell. Wash once and the smell is gone. It was a bit odd that the towels weren't exactly square. They were all slightly tilted - more like a square diamond than a square rectangle. Stretching and adjusting from opposite angles didn't help either. After one wash they all came out perfectly straight. In general, the first wash not only solved these two problems, but the towels became softer and, of course, even more beautiful. Straight out of the dryer, they don't need to be ironed at all. They come out soft and with the natural flour bag folds that make them so classic perfect. They are very absorbent and won't leave lint marks on glasses or dishes. Color eggplant. I use ecru towels for drying dishes and the colored set for sink towels and fruit/veg towels so they don't get berry or beet stains.
