I've always had dry, thin and coarse hair. It's not overly damaged, but enough to be lifeless on my head. Although I've tried several other conditioners with mixed success, it often took multiple uses to see any result. Hair became softer right after the first application! It had a little more life and volume! The application was pretty easy. I used my regular shampoo, washed it out and then applied the conditioner. Leave on for a little over 3 minutes and massage in as directed. Then I dried my hair with a towel and just combed it. The softness lasts all day and doesn't leave a greasy shine, which is a huge plus. It usually becomes lifeless with regular conditioner or greasy without it. Sometimes it's a struggle. I color my hair a lot, so I'm always looking for products that help the healing process. Good product!
