These binoculars come in very handy for spotting birds and wildlife that you don't want to disturb. Focus and zoom are good, and the feeling is permanent (at least for now). There is an attachment that allows you to attach an iPhone camera (or similar) and take a picture through one of the eyepieces. But it's not particularly easy to use, and if that's what you're looking to buy this item for, you might be disappointed. That's not what I bought it for, so I don't care.
