I have had other solar lights for my side stairs and they are usually dim. These lights are amazing! Super bright and made my difficult to see steps easy to see in the darkness.I did as the instructions recommended and allowed the lights to charge for 2 days in the sun before setting them up. Set up was simple, I chose the placement locations and attached to screw into my decking. Then all you have to do is slide the unit over the screw head. The track for the screw head seemed small but I was able to just give the extra tug to slide them down and lock it into place. I started with the first mode which is always on from dark until morning and motion sensor that makes the light even brighter as a person comes close. I was amazed at just how much light they provided! They were on all night long until sunrise.I am very pleased with these lights, I am going to use the second mode, which is just motion sensor, but now I do not need to worry about tripping on that first step.
