Sennheisers are the only brand I've ever used, however they eventually gave out on me just like every other pair of headphones. For me, steel was mostly a consumable. I stopped buying it and used the stock Apple headphones that came with my phone for a lengthy walk. Then it was me who had the first generation of air pods. After six months, they lost a lot of their sound quality and started sitting down more frequently. I went back to the lace, but it broke again because the cable was too frail. Oh, how nice it was to put in a soft plug and block out all the background noise so that I could just listen to some nice music again. Sennheiser is the way to go if you, like me, need a pair of headphones with a microphone and can only afford $1,500-$2,500. I still had to get my hands on a unique flac file to round out the atmosphere, so I did that and put it on repeat for the evening. There are signs of improvement, but we can't be sure.
