Great for 2nd gen and works with 1st gen
If you have a 1st gen mini (USB power input) I recommend using Gorilla double sided tape and place it in the adapter hole feeding. You can connect an AC adapter to it and everything works as it should. If you have a 2nd gen mini (round power input) it will work right out of the box.
