I wanted these shoes for a Christmas party and as I no longer wear heels I went to the reviews which said these shoes are very comfortable. Although I found them to be much more comfortable than the 3 inch heels, I still had leg cramps after wearing them for 6 hours. So be aware that while they are low (about 2 inches) they don't have enough padding to last more than a few hours in my opinion. A simple solution if you have some of these bets. The size fits perfectly, I usually wear a size 8.5/9 and a size 8.5 fits perfectly. The strap didn't cut my ankle and the heel wasn't slippery - all in all a fantastic deal for the price. I've been looking for exactly such shoes at Nordies, Macy's and even Target for several months. For under $100 which I didn't want to spend on a one off party I couldn't find anything close to what I wanted. Was so lucky to find them for about $20 and got tons of compliments throughout the night. I also find the shoes more classic so I can wear them to any formal occasion in the future.
