I chose the open box for the charger and batteries because I expected someone to open it, change their mind and send it back. The item I received was very used. Dust and dirt settled in the crevices of the charging stations, along with a few strands of what I took for a dog well into the non-slip pads of the charging stations below. Tried again to find out that there is no power supply plugged into the charging cable. The info says no adapter is needed for charging, but doesn't explain that one isn't included. So I use my own outlet only to find out that battery pack controllers don't fit tight enough to charge the batteries. When I press the controllers against the base, they start charging the batteries. The included manual is for a completely different model that comes with a charging cable from a wall outlet. All in all, the green and red light concept is cool, but the product is absolutely not worth buying and a waste of money.
