I drive an hour to work and mostly over a bridge so I had plenty of washer fluid. After reading the reviews I decided to give it a try and it didn't disappoint. I hold a gallon jug, fill it 3/4 full, drop in a tablet and let it sit for a couple of hours, then shake the jug and add more water. I've had no problems with it dissipating completely and will definitely buy again when I'm low. It's not that the washer fluid is expensive, but it's convenient to be able to make it yourself and not have to go to the store to do it. Let's face it, who goes to the store just to buy one thing. In the end, you save even more money.
