Bought a Canon for the first time. up to this point, everything was epson, but they withered and died! I knew what I was going for. Therefore, I did not expect any surprises! I knew that color reproduction is needed in alignment . and that the cartridge resource is small! here either buying an XL cartridge (which is expensive) or a top-end option - refilling with Korean ink (the Internet is for help - everything is chewed). But I was surprised by the quality in general . canon has risen a lot . if you put epson and canon devices next to the same level it was funny . now . very even! given the price. but here everyone decides for himself! canon cheap and cheerful! you can fill and print and print . until the head that is built into the cartridge dies! but I think it will pull it out 3-4 times for a gas station . then you will have to buy a native cartridge again and again . ink from 650 . for 4 colors of 100 ml . well, the device itself is cheap . and epson, of course, the device is twice as expensive right off the bat . but there the head itself . only the cartridges change . everything has dried up . you throw it away . or disassemble . you wash the head . and so on . but this requires skill and experience . you can very quickly ruin everything at once with an awkward movement. you can also have the best version of the original Epson CISS // but again, the price is much more expensive. about the scanner, it's normal . mediocre . epson has a resolution of 1440 for canon 1200 for everyday life with a head . scan a documentary ok . it will pull on something more . but if you compare, for example, with top devices (for example, I have an old AGFA E52), then goodbye)) . in general, for home and domestic needs with the possibility of acceptable photo printing . the device is excellent . for this money, I would say ideal!
