When we moved here I unknowingly donated my camera strap to the moving gods. It was a fair deal because I got three more soup bowls than I ever had before. I needed a new strap anyway because a $3,000 DSLR with a $2,400 lens costs less, ahem, less after being dropped off a rocky cliff. Please see the photos that are part of this review. The benefit of this strap over the non-existent one is the quick release ends so I can quickly remove the strap when using the camera on a tripod. The downside is that the clips don't fit the hinges Canon supplied with the camera because they're too big. Good news: The harness comes with four spring clips to accommodate oversized loops for those oversized clips. The bad news is that I couldn't attach it to the camera. They are too small, at least for me. My wife, with her long nails and thinner fingers, put them on after a fight but resented the process. If I'd thought of prying the spring hinges apart with a small flat head screwdriver I might have managed. Another small issue is that there is no shoulder pad included. The lining makes hiking all day or longer more comfortable, but also adds volume. However, I would like to. Conclusion: This belt works.
