I used this for PS4 that had controller issues. When you try to play a game and your knees jam the controller, you experience a lag or it doesn't work at all. So I took a 1/4 bit drill, made a hole near where the power supply connects to the case and used this antenna instead. Aim a little lower than me, although the antenna got in the way when I tried to close it, so I forced it to close. But now the controller can go through the cinder block with this thing. It can also see Wi-Fi normally, but I don't use it, I use a power cord. So I'm not sure if this will improve the Wi-Fi range itself, but I'm willing to bet it will. Because the antenna has small nuts, you don't have to mess around with glue or anything like that. All you need is a drill.
