Sturdy, Quality materials, Fit and Finish, Poor Assembly Instructions

I am having hip replacement in November. Per recommendation, I got a rollator walker as I will need it for a few weeks afterwards. Saw this product and took a chance to but it after reading reviews. I weigh 330lbs and I am 6 feet tall and was concerned about what some were saying about sturdiness. I can tell you that so far I find it both sturdy when using it as a roller/walker, and sitting on it to "rest”. The quality of materials and construction is way better than I hoped for, for the price. As with most "made in China” products, the Instructions are very, very lacking. You should watch any number of the videos online to aid with construction. I will say that with this unit, the brake cables from the handles to the wheels being pre-installed is both a convenience, and a problem. You cannot put the wheels on and THEN install the handles, as the brake cables do not have enough slack to do this. You must put the handles on first. It would have been nice if the front and back were labeled. As they were not, just realize this (the videos will help you). The big wheels are in the "front” of the unit, meaning the brake handles when you are using it as a roll at or walker should be facing the big wheels. The "seat” as a consequence is actually on the "back” of the unit. The tote bag will be under the front of the unit, great for access as you walk, but not as you sit. The anodized aluminum finish is very high quality, and if you must bear the embarrassment of needing a walker in public, this is pretty sleek and high quality in appearance. The cane holder is a nice feature, and keeps your cane at hand. You will need to adjust the brake tension so that both calipers grip with the same force. This is easy to do with a small pair of pliers. All-in-all, a good value for the money.
