Of course I bought this because it's so cute - how could you look away from this blue beauty? But the best thing of course is that it works! The hinged lid opens all the way for easy filling and cleaning! It is clearly marked inside to know the minimum and maximum capacity. The water heats up incredibly quickly and the automatic switch-off function gives me peace of mind. There is an amazing temperature sensor that I didn't think I would use, but now I can't live without it. I don't like my water being that hot so I use a sensor to know when to turn it off. There are drips when pouring and I often leave the lid open after use to air dry. I haven't had any rust or degradation yet (for about 3 months). Water does not come into contact with plastic, there are no unpleasant filters. Simply fill, heat and pour!
